Just a little bit about me...

Hi, I'm Rachel - boy mum, wife, and self-proclaimed collector of beautiful moments.
Life has moved me around a few times, but I currently call Aberdeenshire, Scotland my home. 
I've loved taking photographs for as long as I can remember. My first camera being an instant print that I borrowed from my parents which somehow got "lost" after I used up all of the paper in a single afternoon... oops! But my passion for capturing the beautiful, ordinary moments of life grew exponentially after the birth of my first little boy. He's nine now, and oh my goodness, it feels like I've blinked and he's turned from a little baby into this amazing, complex boy - who's almost as tall as I am! He's what made me truly realise what a gift it is to be able to freeze a moment in time through a photograph. 
Something else you should know about me, I'm a total romantic - growing up watching Disney fairytales it's no wonder really. So if you have me at your wedding, the chances are that I'll cry happy tears at some point during the day. 
It brings my heart so much joy to witness the beautiful moments of people loving on each other - whether it's families or couples ready to say "I do".Love is one of the most precious things in the world, and I couldn't be more thankful that as my job, I get to capture its many forms.
