Life is so busy, and the run up to the wedding can be stressful - so I believe your wedding photography shouldn't be. I love to keep things super relaxed and fun, and to take the time to get to know my couples so the photography coverage is tailored uniquely to you.
I follow your timescale so you can enjoy your day, and we create beautiful images of the moment exactly as they happen.
Your photographer will be with you the most throughout your day, so you need to feel comfortable around them. I tell all of my couples beforehand that I'm on your team - I want you to have a beautiful documentation of your day and I want you to enjoy your day to the fullest. So I'll do all I can to make that happen.
Not only that, but I am emotionally invested in this monumental moment of your love story. You can be assured that at the ceremony as I'm capturing those all important moments, I'll also be swiping away tears of joy, and at the dance, I'll be grinning and shimmying away behind the camera.

How do you photograph weddings?
My style is very relaxed, incorporating a mix of traditional and documentary style. So you can allocate time for your group and family photos, have a gorgeous newly-wed photoshoot and also have candid moments captured throughout the day.

I understand the gravity of your Wedding Day and how perfect you deserve that to be - it's one of the most memorable days of your life after all! As your photographer, I am on your team so will do what I can to ensure the day goes smoothly from a photography point of view and will adapt to what is asked of me on the day.
​I love being by my couples sides throughout the day capturing all of the beautiful emotions, the calm moments, the crazy moments, and everything in between.
The goal for me isn't just to take pretty pictures, but to preserve how a moment feels. So when you look at the photos, you'll be transported back to that wonderful day.
How does payment work?
A £200 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date in my diary. Once this has been paid, no other bookings will be taken on your chosen date.

The remainder of your payment is due to be paid no later than 14 days before your date. And can be paid in one lump sum or in instalments, depending on what best suits yourselves.
When do we get our photos and how many will we receive?
You can expect to receive a minimum of 500 edited images from your amazing day in a variation of monochrome and colour.

Around 6-10 weeks after your wedding, you will receive a private online gallery link to view and instantly download your photos.
​
The USB included with all packages allows you to print your photos yourself, and your included 8"x12" fine art print means that you can enjoy the quality of professional printing of your favourite wedding image.

Should you wish to buy any additional prints, a beautiful, modern album or stunning wall art - prices can discussed at any stage. I use an award-winning professional lab for all of my prints and products to ensure your photographic art will last for generations.

Pre-Wedding & Engagement: FAQ
What is a pre-wedding or engagement session? And do we have to have one?
First of all, no, you do not have to do one, but it's a great way to give you an idea of what to expect from your wedding photos.
​
What's the difference between the two? An engagement session will get booked in at the same time as you book in your wedding photography and can be used for your "Save the Dates", etc. A pre-wedding session is scheduled closer to the wedding so my style and the prompts we work through are still fresh in your mind. The purpose for both is capturing the excitement of the build up to your wedding whilst giving us a chance to all get comfortable with each other. This is so important as I will be with you each step of the way on your Wedding Day, so I want you to get a chance to know me and feel relaxed around me. It also gives you a chance to get in front of the camera with me and eliminate any photo-related nerves in a fun and relaxed way.
The session will be at an outdoor location of your choice (travel is complimentary within 30 miles of Denholm, Scottish Borders and I have a list of gorgeous locations in this area if you'd like ideas!) and can be as dressed up or as casual as you'd like. We'll be there for up to one hour, taking photos and getting to know each other more.
